1. What is a "Deliverable"?A deliverable is a tangible output of our work. Examples include:
  • A logo or UI mockup.
  • A functional "Alpha" build of a mobile app.
  • A migration report for your database.
  • A live landing page on a staging URL.
2. The Verification StageIn your Kanban Workspace, once our team finishes a task, they move the card to the "In-Review / Verification" column. This is your signal to inspect the work.
How to Review:
  1. Open the Card: Read any final notes from the developer.
  2. Inspect the Asset: Click the link to the live staging site or download the attached build.
  3. Compare Against Requirements: Does the feature do what it was supposed to do? Is the design correct?
3. Providing Feedback or ApprovalWhen a task is in the Verification column, you have two choices:
Option A: Request Revisions (The "Iterate" Cycle)If something isn't quite right:
  • Leave a detailed comment on the card explaining the issue.
  • Attach a screenshot or video recording of the correction needed.
  • Our team will move the card back to "In-Progress" and fix it immediately.
Option B: Final Approval (The "Sign-Off")If you are 100% happy with the work:
  • Comment "Approved" or click the "Mark as Approved" button if available in your workspace tier.
  • This is your "Digital Signature." It signals to our managers that this portion of the budget is officially spent and the work is finalized.

4. Understanding MilestonesA milestone is a collection of related tasks that signify a major project stage (e.g., "Frontend Layout Complete").
  • Milestone Approval: When you approve the final task within a milestone, the entire milestone is marked as "Met."
  • Invoicing Link: For some plans, the completion of a Milestone triggers the next stage of billing or the release of the final project files.
5. The Significance of the Staging EnvironmentBefore we go "Live" to your customers, we always host your project on a Staging URL (e.g., staging.yourproject.com).
  • Safety First: This allows you and your team to test everything in a real-world browser environment without the risk of public users seeing unfinished sections.
  • Approval Logic: We only "Push to Production" (Go Live) once the staging environment has received your full Milestone Approval.
6. Pro Tips for a Smoother Approval Phase
[!TIP] Batch Your Feedback: Instead of leaving five small comments throughout the day, try to do a single, comprehensive review of the "Verification" column. This allows our developers to fix all issues in one focused session, saving you time and ensuring a more cohesive update.
7. SummaryApprovals are where your vision meets our reality. By being diligent in your reviews and clear in your feedback, you ensure that the final Softsasi product is a perfect reflection of your brand’s standards.
Ready to sign off on a task? Open your Kanban Board and check the "Verification" column now.
